At Pangaea Midwifery, we believe learning should never stop. Birth is constantly teaching us, and we believe the best midwives remain lifelong students. While maintaining our licenses requires continuing education, we choose to go beyond those minimum requirements by seeking out advanced trainings, conferences, workshops, and mentorship opportunities that deepen our knowledge and expand the care we provide to families.
Our goal isn’t simply to collect certificates. It’s to continually refine our skills, stay current with evolving evidence, and provide thoughtful, relationship-centered care rooted in both experience and education.
Below are just a few of the organizations, trainings, and certifications that have shaped our practice.
