When it came time for baby, they arrived quickly, knowing my labors are fast. My labor was under three hours and incredibly intense. When I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore, they were steady, encouraging, and unwavering in their support. Our baby was over 10 pounds, my placenta came fast, and I hemorrhaged. Looking back at photos from my birth, I can see the worry on my husband’s face—things clearly became scary with how much blood I was losing. Yet I don’t remember fear or chaos. What I remember is calm.
Jayme and Julianne remained incredibly composed and confident. They knew exactly what needed to happen and acted quickly and decisively, all while keeping the environment peaceful. Because of their skill, teamwork, and deep trust in the birth process, I was able to stay home and heal.
After our baby was born, they continued that same intentional, family-centered care by taking time to explain and involve our children in everything that was happening. They gave a detailed, age-appropriate lesson on the placenta—its function and all of its parts—explained the supplies being used, and made space for our kids to ask questions. Our 3- and 9-year-old sons were even invited to cut their sister’s cord. It was incredibly meaningful.
Our boys will grow up knowing how natural, powerful, and incredible a woman’s body is—how it is created to grow life and birth it so perfectly. Birth will be normalized for them, not medicalized, and Jayme & Jewel played a huge role in shaping that foundation for our family.
If I could have a million babies with Pangaea, I would. I cannot recommend Jayme and Julianne highly enough. They are truly exceptional.

At the end of care with this team you will have a new friendship. A very special bond of having them help you bring your baby earth side and making sure everyone is safe and sound in the process. My family was very skeptical of a home birth, but I fully trusted that Jayme & Julianne would be able to handle any situation thrown at them, and they most certainly have.
Both women are VERY educated in their books, in the field, and with people. I love the truly individual care you get with them, and that when you tell them you love that smoothie they made you one time three months ago, they can find it and make it again for you during a birth 😂❤️

Jewel and Jayme took the time at each appointment to also care for my emotional wellbeing, as well as my family's.
